FitCD

hello,

can the .avs script be written with just notepad or do you have to use Fitcd?

Also which resizing method is preferred- bilinear, bicubic, or precise bicubic?

This part of the capturing-encoding process seems to be the most confusing for me and I think that creating the .avs script with FitCd is the source of my problems. I tried to use Vdub to load my mpeg-2 captures but I got a "pack syncronization error"

thx for the help

Hi rendalunit:

You can use notepad or any other ascii editor to create an AviSynth script file.

Look at the AviSynth page for the complete language reference on all functions.

I always use FitCD because it calculates the correct resize aspect automatically. And I just add what I want to the script file with notepad.

You use Billinear when downscaling resolutions. Bicubic for upscaling resolutions. That is the suggested method.
