Recording: Best capture card for under $100 ?

can any one recomend a device for around 100bucks that gives me very goog looking video.I would prefer a pci card since everyone knows it has better vieo than usb. Also if you think I shold just save up a little more for alot better quality than I will.Becuase I am going to be recording either from vhs(home movies and such) or straight form the tv.(Like maby a wrestling show or something everonce and a while)And I wan it to look as good as that.I know im asking for alot for so little but any help will be greatly appricated.
Oh yea having the conputer's cpu convert it would be no problem for me I have a 3000+ amd athlon so it should not be a problem at all.

Get a Philps Chip 7134 based PCI Capture Card like the Cinergy400 from Terratec as your CPU is fast enough for softwareencoding while capturing.
Costs even much less than 100 bucks!

If ypu spend a bit more, you can get a Haupauge WINPVR250 which does capture directly using hardware mpeg2 encoding. But I suggest you the one above as your CPU is fast enough ;-)

YEP!

Also you could look for other 7134 based Capt Cards, I got mine from Conrad electronics in Germany for 39,90 Euros and it works PERFECT with the Cinergy 1.4 Driver.
