OK here's a pic of a vhs-c cam rip I did recently. I already applied some vdub filters but I'm still not satisfied with the picture quality. As you can see the red color ist much too strong and there's also some noise. I always used the script I posted here until now.

Here're some more details on my source. I've got quite a bunch of those short flicks, all of them have basically the same quality and shall be encoded to KDVD. http://www.digitalfaq.com/archives/error.gif

a) I do see you do capture at 720x576! Thats wrong as you should use 704x576! Cause your Driver doesnt capture at 53.33us but using approx. near to 52.000us.
And when capturing VHS a size of 352x576 is far enough and easier to process when filtering.

b) It seems you got a lot of chroma noise in your caps, do use CNR2() and play a bit with its setings.

if your capturing through RCA cables dont forget to correct the chroma shift.
