Changing to Huffyuv Codec in Miro/Pinnacle DC30 capture card?

I am using Win 2000 with Adobe Premier 5.1.
I am trying to change its capture codec from the M-JPEG to the Huffy YUV codec with no luck.

I have to capture outside of Premiere using the DC30 Pro software.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'd switch to VirtualDubMod instantly

Miro cards have a hardware mjpeg chip, they can ONLY capture in MJPEG.

Can the Pinnacle be set to capture at a very high bit rate with it's internal M-JPEG CODEC. Because if it can, I would just capture to M-JPEG and then encode that with TMPEG. There shouldn't be that much difference in quality capturing to M-JPEG or to Huffy. That is, if the quality of the hardware M-JPEG CODEC is any good. I don't know about that, because I've never used that card.

That might be worth a try. Encoding from MJPEG is a lot faster than from Huffyuv and you probably won't notice the quality difference as Kwag said.
