Cutting Commercials from TV recordings?
Can deleting sections of an AVI capture in VirtualDUB cause errors on the the saved AVI file? I'm getting block sections on my KVCD.

hmm, don't really think so, -
are you frameserving directly or going through avisynth? ztr |
I haven't heard of such a problem and I use VDub as my editor all the time without incident. Usually I use VirtualDub to "edit" my TV captures then import the VCF file entries into avisynth. This has worked flawlessly every time.
I have also frame served an edited AVI from Vdub without problems. Personally, I would encourage you to go the avisynth route. It provides much more control and you can do much smoother edits using fades and zooms. (I also used this method to turn an R rated movie into a PG.) |

Maybe a ConvolutionXD filter   |
Now that is funny!
Edit: I nearly fell off my chair. |
