Cable signal booster

I still experience faint rolling lines on all my cable outlets (3). This affects my PVR-250 and televisions. Could someone recommend the "best bang for the buck" cable signal booster? :?:

Thanks, :?

Hi nicksteel,

Don't put a signal booster on your line :!:
I assume your signal is already strong enough, and if you add an amplifier, you'll only saturate your input and also increase the noise.
A signal booster is only useful if your signal is very weak, but clean. That means that it doesn't contain other types of terrestrial interference.
You can try to put ferrite beads on each of your cable ends, and this will remove most external interference that is being induced in the cables.
You can get ferrite beads at your local Radio Crap store.
8O I MEAN, "Radio Shack"

I tried to find these (as per your advice some months ago), but only got blank looks at radio shack. You must have access to a better one than the the two I tried here. It looks like some kind of interference, but it is constant. I changed all the cables to the type recommended by the cable company, but no change.

Could you upload a screenshot so that we could see what it looks like?

It is only visable in motion. I have enough frames to view (71,290 KB). How can I post (I'm on dial up)?

Thanks
