WDC 160GB corrupted files when transfering
 

Hi all :)

Im having some problems with my second hdd,
every time I transfer some files or when I rip vob files to the drive and tries to encode, the video is from some extras or the video jumps and not working.
Some pc specs:

-120GB HDD (OS)
-P4 2,0 GHz
-Abit IT7 motherboard with the newest bios
-512mb memory
-SP1

And things I have tried:

-Formating with the windows disk thing.
-Formating with the WDC tool.
-Formating with Partition Magic.
-Changed IDE cable.
-tried to split the disk in two.

and nothing works :(

This is the second hdd I get from komplett.com ,the first one I sent back to them ,so they sent me a new one,but its still not working.So it must be something im doing wrong :?

Some help would be great.
