My new firewall!
Hi All :)
This past Friday, I got my Soekris embedded board and case by mail :) So I put in a little Compact Flash card (32MB, the smallest I had laying around!), and transfered the 4MB m0n0Wall firmware image, and now I have a rock solid FreeBSD based solution with traffic shaping (bandwidth balancing) that ROCKS :!:  Price I paid for the above configuration was $181.00, plus shipping. Here's a picture of my firewall, which is up and running (picture shown as it is right now) and fully operational. And all I can say is that I love it :D (The FreeBSD sticker didn't come with the case ;) ) http://www.digitalfaq.com/archives/error.gif This is what the software can do:

Thanks Zyphon :)
It is really an impressive piece of hardware, and software. -kwag |
I've got a similar setup up and running for already a few weeks without a single hickup.
Karl did you mention PPTP/IPSec server? This is just great :) Cheers |

And yesterday I tested the Net4801 (on a customer's site), and it's really great :) But I'm happy like a pig with the Net4501 above. It's working like a charm. BTW, they added the picture here: http://m0n0.ch/wall/gallery.php (top left) -kwag |
