My new firewall!

Hi All :)

This past Friday, I got my Soekris embedded board and case by mail :)
So I put in a little Compact Flash card (32MB, the smallest I had laying around!), and transfered the 4MB m0n0Wall firmware image, and now I have a rock solid FreeBSD based solution with traffic shaping (bandwidth balancing) that ROCKS :!: :lol:
Price I paid for the above configuration was $181.00, plus shipping.

Here's a picture of my firewall, which is up and running (picture shown as it is right now) and fully operational.
And all I can say is that I love it :D
(The FreeBSD sticker didn't come with the case ;) )

    * wireless support (access point with PRISM-II/2.5/3 cards, BSS/IBSS with other cards including Cisco)
    * captive portal
    * 802.1Q VLAN support
    * stateful packet filtering
    o block/pass rules
    o logging
    * NAT/PAT (including 1:1)

    * PPTP VPN (with RADIUS server support)
    * static routes
    * DHCP server
    * caching DNS forwarder
    * DynDNS client
    * SNMP agent
    * traffic shaper
    * SVG-based traffic grapher
    * firmware upgrade through the web browser
    * Wake on LAN client
    * configuration backup/restore

I've got a similar setup up and running for already a few weeks without a single hickup.
Karl did you mention PPTP/IPSec server?
This is just great :)
Cheers

No :!: I forgot :D
And yesterday I tested the Net4801 (on a customer's site), and it's really great :)
But I'm happy like a pig with the Net4501 above. It's working like a charm.
BTW, they added the picture here: http://m0n0.ch/wall/gallery.php (top left) :cool:
