New Ogg server
Hi you all :D ,
Just a word to let you know I just got the Ogg server changed; So, please feel free to note the new dns (never bookmark a station (bis...Lol)). This is now the good one : http://viper.mediacast1.com:9104/live.ogg Hope you'll come over and over (I still miss your opinions about growing Ogg in the USA...I'm a little bit puzzled there...Lol). Have some nice vacations, François |
Hi François :)
Nice of you to share the new URL with us. I'm enjoying a bit of Eagles right now 8) It sounds wonderfull in OGG ~64K. Keep on playing music for us :) Cheers mate |
Hi Rui,
How were your holidays in Portugal? :D Was this past Christmas a good one (with plenty of chocolate ??? ). Concerning Ogg, I can tell you that I should provide you with new information in the days ahead (info about US servers and not the French MP3 one...very sollicited on some afternoons and "left alone" by night... :(). Do you ever connect to some MP3 stream by any chance ? Thanks anyway for the kind message, 8) Friendly François[/i] |
Hi François :)
Still enjoying my vacations :). I'll get back to work on Monday :(. Yeah, plenty of chocolates but the "worst" thing was the huge amount of champagne . You know, New Years eve is coming and more champagne in the freezer . As to the radio server, it's a big shame Ogg is left alone at night. I gotta tell you: I have badnwidth rates at home, so I can't be logged on the servers for too long . And no, I don't tunne into MP3 stations anymore. Hope your Ogg channel stays up for long. Nice hearing from you. Have a nice New Year's eve. Plenty of luck for the coming new year ;-) Cheers |
Hi Rui,
Glad to hear you're still on vacations...(slow down about the champagne, slow down...Lol). 8O  I don't know if there might have been some missunderstanding here; If so, my fault; I wanted to say that there were practically nobody left by bight on the MP3 server, while Ogg still remains quite the same (few people come and choose OggVorbis anyway). I told Karl about that, and he thinks it's a matter of time; True OggVorbis isn't as known as the usual MP3, and that's really too bad. I wonder how such things can happen with the Internet now. Jeasus! Thanks for telling me about your listening experiences and habits...It helps me more than you can imagine. :D I wish you a great New Year's Eve too... Thanks for wishing me some good luck; I think this won't be worthwile...Lol Friendly, François (muito obrigado Rui) |
