Avast 4.6 Home Edition

Hi guys,
For a few months I've been using Avast on my home PC.
And it has been working ok with auto-update and everything else.
But today I started my PC and Avast displayed a message "your auto-update licence will expire in the next few days" or something similar.
Does that mean that I'll have to start downloading my updates manually?
Or am I doing something wrong here?
Cheers

Hi Rui,

I recall that Avast license lasts for a year or so, so maybe it's time you re-download :)
Have you been using it for a year already 8O

i just went through this

when you install Avast it gives you the option to register later,i think its 60 days or so before you need to get a license

all you have to do is register and they send you an activation by email

Phew...
I have already registered some time ago but last time I installed avast I forgot to enter the registration license.
I just entered it and avast accepted it.
Let's hope I don't see any more warning messages :)
Thanks guys

What Karl said is still right : the free license if for one year. After this you wil have to ask for a new, still free, license.

Then thank you both Karl and Phil for the tip ;-).
