Is this phone available in your area :?: http://www.cingular.com/8125_consumer
Because we have those working here, and they are great :D

There's a huge list of other devices here: http://www.mobiletechnews.com/

I finally buyed this one:

As you can see, it is very similar (but the same) that that you referred me previouly.

Im learning how to use it with a softphone (it has bundled wi-fi).
If I can, i think that it is better than our (yes, i buyed it also, for my wife in home) UTstarcom.
After that, I think that there are a system (i need to re read all in this forum to reach it again) that permit you (your phone) to select wifi if available, gsm mobile if not, im not remeber well it, maybe do you?

Hi Luis,

Congrats :!: :D
Now you just have to set a priority in the phone (don't ask me, I don't know!) so WiFi is #1 and GSM is #2.
This way, when you are in a WiFi coverage area, the calls will go out via VoIP instead of GSM, saving yourself some pennies :D
You should now subcsribe to a cheap SIP provider, and program that account into your phone.
Take a look in www.voip-info.com for a list of VoIP providers.
