list of public (and fast!?) dns servers
 

Hello there!

Well that is it: my ISP has slow dns servers and or very bad ones. Frequently I get no resolution at all or slow responses. I found this:

http://www.opendns.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opendns

And I am using their nameservers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

All I can say so far is that they are fantastic! Simply superb at least comparing them to my ISP ones.

Besides, does anyone know a list of public and fast dns servers? Or, does anyone recommend a good and fast dns server at all?

The ones you posted are OpenDNS, which are great!
