Hi Otto,

I thought you had installed it on your computer 8O

If you have a spare partition, after you boot from the CD, go to a shell and type:

knx-hdinstall

Follow the instructions. That will install the complete distribution to hard disk :!:

About wine:

At the moment I have tmpgenc under wine running fine, it's about the same speed as under windows only the gui feels a bit "sloppy", encoding video works nice, It's a crime to get the divx codecs to work (I even can't remember what was the trick), audio doesn't work at all, because off codecs.

For everyone who thinks he can run his popular windows program under linux: forget it it's not gonna work. If you are so lucky that you can install the program, that still doen't mean it runs. Wine is still after all these years ALPHA software. If you are looking for something to get to work, first look at http://frankscorner.org/ to see or your's is in the list.
