I haven't tried Firefox
It is really great for basic surfing and its fast :driveby: but i miss some functions

I have tried opera for a long period of time but i prefer the handling in mozilla (i personally do not loke the tabs-feature) and i don't like those ads flashing.

BTW: There was a german study saying that Mozilla is not an alternative for IE regarding security  , here is the link (in german): http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/45443

EDIT: @Karl: I missed your post number 10.000  :D 8O

I've been using mozilla for awhile- I think it has crashed before but the current version 1.6 hasn't yet. Also run ad-aware regularly.

i need to send big thanks to el_mero_zooter cos i'm with big problems to recover files from "dam-aged" hdd and from "nowhere" came lots of spywares that blanc my pages and was needed to open the links thousands times.
the Ad-AWare was perfect for the job and found 39 8O problems.....now IE is working fine(if we can say that IE works fine  ) after i recover my files i will TRASH ie using win2k lite to install without IE option and go with firefox

thanks zooter, Ad-AWre is very cool!
