Win2K problems?
 

hy friends!

i'm using win 2K and have big problems using this programs:
CCE250, CCE266, PackShot and DIKO GOLD!

CCE250 i was using from 2002 and never give me problems before.
i was using 98se and install 2k and did all atualizations from windows update.

now CCE 250 and 266 give me checksun error and close.
then i install PackShot and when it's running the system "feel" heavy, sometimes firefox close and the system freeze...."reset" the system is needed.
with DIKO GOLD only try to start and it blink faster and close.
for me the problem maybe is the win2K and NOT the programs!

i don't know what's wrong here !?!?!?!
anyone is having problems with this programs using win 2K :?:

Is your file system FAT32 or NTFS :?:

is fat32 BP but i don't want to change to ntfs cos i will loose my ghost images
from 98se/me that don't run in ntfs.

You see jorel, as I thought ... your system gots problems.

Well I think fat32 related would be if after some largefile encoding errors do come up when the encoding reaches the fat32 file size limit!

So ... you really should check your Win2000 system istall disk.

Also ... did you applied all necessary Win2000 patches/updates from the microsoft server???

Whats that Mainboard you got?
Anything else installed? Pci Cards, Drives etc. ?? Do all got the latest drivers?? Is everything Win2000 compatible?

ink my friend like i told you,for me is some in the win 2k and not on the progs. for this reason i did this thread searching for help.
i trust believe in some "bill's" failure and not in any failures from ink' and vmesquita's progs.

yes is fat 32 but i never need ntfs cos all files have less than 4 Gb and the free space in hd(for virtual memory) is really big.

win 2k install disk...i have 2! the original and the backup (cd-r copy)
i reinstall using the original that is new and shine like a mirror...no fingerprints, etc! was used only 3 times: first when i buy it,second for do a backup copy and the last yesterday when i reinstall 2k again!

all necessary Win2000 patches/updates from the microsoft server too!

mainboard SOYO from 2003...i forgot the model (7kvt-a ?) all lasted drives
LESS the ati all in wonder that don't have drives for 2K and work like as single video board...for use as single video board have drives in ati home!

maxtor60Gb-7200,sansung80Gb-7200,512Mbram,athlon XP2000+(no overclock),LG4081b,LGdvddrive,creative SB100,..big cpu cooler...

i forgot (..it's normal... :roll: ),

V (gold star), send me the link to CCE patch(free, not warez) that solve problems with some cpus that i had but forgot to use, then CCE250 is working fine after 9 hours of tests! 8O
now need to do something to work with DIKO GOLD and PackShot!
