Re-encode one of the samples with the x3 MPEG-2 template, and see if it plays. Pioneers work better with MPEG-2 for non-standard resoutions.

Ok, maybe your player or TV doesn't like the 2 blocks overscan. That's how I encoded the samples. Re-encode a sample with blocks overscan set to 0, and see if that corrects it.

Did you set blocks overscan to "0" on FitCD?

Can you encode one of your own VOB's? with a .d2v project file processed with FitCD?
Just to eliminate possible resize errors with the samples I did?

I actually mean you doing your own sample!
I don't have any PAL samples, because I don't have any PAL sources.

Yes Iam doing my old sample.Iam ripping dvd then dvd2avi then tmpg using your template and also using fitcd to try and get rid of this problem

bomber36 08-28-2002 10:45 AM

Some you dont really know if this template works in pal then?

bomber36 08-28-2002 10:47 AM

Your other template KVCDx2 plus works fine no problems this is at 700x something. Is the problem anything to do with the resolution of 5** x *** the problem on my dvd player i cant see it can you?

Try demultiplexing and remultiplexing as SVCD. The size of the file won't change and the picture should then play correctly. I tried it with pioneer 343 and it worked. The 343 plays like that when it doesn't like the resolution.
