KVCD: detailed steps for using KVCDx3 template?

could you kwag post the detailed steps for using KVCDx3....including using FitCD, DVD2AVI, AviSynth, and tempgenc2.57 plus.

may be a guide with pictures will be great.

I have tried these templates (PAL) and just made the conversion with tmpgenc only and nero5.5.90.

And I used my player Daewoo 5800 and did not work.

they give me a very pixceled picure and then black screen.

please help.....I like your Plus templates.....they work fine and I wlike to use the new ones.

The procedure is identical to the one used with every other template. Even the standard TMPEG included templates. Just use FitCD to get your proper aspect/resize settings, and process with an AviSynth script.
Every guide ever made to encode with TMPEG applies. Just substitute the standard template with a KVCD template :wink:
For a sample screenshot of FitCD used on the X3's, see the screenshot here: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....44a74e002c7326

What I was doing in the past is I capture with my nokia9600 digital receiver with the use of scsi card and dvb2000recorder software and it saves the stream in .mpg format.

After that I use tmpgenc with your plus templates and got very good results.

And I did not use FitCD, DVD2AVI or AviSynth.

With the kvcd3 I got blocks on each other....very bad.

Now, how to use these programs?

@cbr900

I got the Daewoo DVG-6000D and these x3 Templates didnīt work for me either.. I put the X Resolution with fit CD to 544x576 (3/4 DVD full) and now these Settings work.. (just tested MPEG1 so far)... But the Res. 544x576 should work...
