KVCD: Plus template ok, x3 template not?

Hi,
I`m trying to put some holiday DV footage (PAL) onto cd & just discovered these great templates. I used kvcdplusx2 first & results were great, picture sharp but a little rough on fast motion scenes.
But when using the new kvcdx3 templates the results are much worse, lots of motion problems which makes for a much more rough looking picture. - Why is this ?. My player is a Dansai 1010, I`ve tried different methods of de-interlacing with tmpgenc incase this is the problem.
(I`m not using Fitcd, not sure how to. Does this improve motion quality ?)
thanks in advance for any advise.

Hi Daznic,
Try the x3 MPEG-2 version. See if that works on your player. You can also try to change the output resolution on the x3 templatee from 528x576 to 544x576, which is the 3/4 FULL mode. One more thing. You can also try burning as SVCD. Not as VCD.
