Trimming a KVCD?

Hello, I converted an avi file to kvcd mpg1 and the the file came out to about 850 megs.......I would like to know if there is a way/tool to trim this file enough to fit on 1 cd and is fairly easy to use/do......any and all help is greatly appreciated.......

Take your mpeg and demux it.
Use bbmpeg to remux it again. In settings, general tab, you can set max mpg size. Put in the box 820. With this size, maybe you only cut final titles and you can burn it with overburn.
If you cut more that final titles, you can try to reencode audio from your frequency (128, 160, 192, I don't know what you have) to other minor than yours. (minimun = 112).
With any of this 2 actions or both together, you can fit your movie in 1CD80.
You can also keep mpg size and just divide it by half with bbmpeg (max mpg size = 425), but this last for 2CDs.

Thanks Prodater64 for your quick response........I was kinda hoping that there was an easier way to do this .......I would like to trim off the beginning credits and the ending credits and then maybe it would fit on 1 cd........I'm just trying to avoid starting over........

Well, you can use tmpgenc. Menu File, mpeg tools, merging and cut. Load your mpg, press edit, slice your "timeline marker" at your desired begining point and press [ button. Slice your "timeline marker" at your desired end point and press ] button. Ok. Let it run and you get your movie as you want (I had see that these points don't have high precision)
