KDVD: two movies with two audios, two subs and menu?

hy all! :)

using vobedit, i get the .m2v, all audio tracks and subs.
then i encode that .m2v to get smaller file size.

what tool can i use to author my encoded .mpv with smaller file size to mux with the original audio tracks, subs and menu for each movie(with chapters)?

as i never did this type of authoring before, i need recomendations.
thank you boys!

Unfortunally there is none and that is why DVDRebuilder was done.

I am thinking about a way to use DVDRebuilder to do only this last part but using a m2v that was encoded by an other method. This will allow to use "our" m2v, made with "our" KVCD method and DVDRebuilder will match all the menus on this.

I have an idea but I can't see that before this we

I found this, for making a dvd movie with 2 audios. I think it should work:

This is a method we use since months :-)

But the problem of Jorel was different : he wanted to keep the original menus and chapter. And for that there is (was) nothing when he posted his question.

Ok, actually I thought with chapters meant recreating your own chapters via something like dvd-lab...

there is a way with dvd maestro, but takes a long time,

You need to encode all parts of the menu(set up,scene selection, original)
then you need to do all the sub overlay pics from the menus.
and a lot of other things
and do the subs with subrip,

put it all together with dvd maestro and you'll end up with a Video_ts and audio_ts folder.

it works, but takes some time to do.So your way with Dvd-RB Dialhot would be much better,if you find out how to do it.
Good luck with it :!:

edit: forgot something, of course your encode have to be 352x480/576 or 720x480/576 and mpeg2.

Actually, Sansgrip finalized the idea by using DVD-RB and a modified release of RBopt.
See there :
