KVCD: Aspect Ratio?

Hello, would like to know of somebody that has custume with VCD/SVCD and avisynth and can help, which me is aspect ratio correct to be used so that the remimencionamento of the TV occurs without image cuts? I use the TMPGEnc with following the configuration in the "Setting", the video ear, Aspect Ratio: "1:1 VGA" in the Advanced, Source Aspect Ratio: "4:3 525 Line", script avs that use, is the following one:
Code:

AVISource("Movie.avi",false)

#Post-Process
#ConvertToYV12()
#addborders(0,8,0,0)
Blockbuster(method="noise",detail_min=1,detail_max=8,variance=0.3,seed=5823)
ATC(1,2,4,0.5,false)
TemporalSoften(2,7,7,3,2)
Blockbuster(method="noise",detail_min=1,detail_max=10,variance=0.5,seed=5823)

#Resize, overscan and borders
#TextSub("Subtitle.ssa")
GripCrop(480, 480, overscan=0,source_anamorphic=false,dest_anamorphic=false)
GripSize(resizer="LanczosResize")
GripBorders()

#Subtitles #
############
TextSub("Subtitle.ssa")
#Sampler(100,length=24)

The original film is in Full Screen (4:3) and its resolution is 560x416, and in the hour of the redimencionamento with conf. that I passed, it cuts the film in the upper/lower part of the screen in the TV, the laterals does not hear cut. Since already I am thankful!

My english is google! :oops:
huahuah...

YOur problemm of image cutted out is not relative to the A/R but to the overscan of the TV.
Look into your script, the line gripcrop has a parameter "overscan". Put a value of 1 or 2 there insteed of 0 and you won't have any pictue cut anymore.

You are producing a picture for your PC ? No ! So put "4:3" anywhere, not VGA (VGA means PC).

Note: you are using a old script. I do'nt know where you foudn it but you should update it to the last optimal script I did. There :

Hm... I go to try however when I place one overscan with this aspect ratio it appears black edges.
I really am half cismado with aspect ratio, therefore when encodo in the A.R 1:1 and 525 S.A.R 4:3 Line I do not feel the film flattened. Remembering you who my TV is not widescreen, which is aspect ratio that you recommend to me to be used in the TMPGEnc? Using script q I passed above... Very obliged exactly for the aid! :P

That's normal :-).
The TV cuts a part of the imagen whatever you do. That is why we put this edges : THEY will be cut, but not the image of the movie :-)

The A/R must be set to 4:3 anywhere ! Sorry if you seems to not "feel" it flat, but it is.

The script produces a picture that is 4:3. You use this image as source in tmpgenc so you must use "4:3" as A/R for the source.

It would first like to be thankful the Dialhot for the aid. I made what you it recommended to me, I placed aspect ratio 4:3 and in source equally aspect ratio, however when I reproduced the film in dvdplayer, felt the image flattened, would have some metodo or conf. so that this does not happen? Since already I am thankful! :wink:
