DVD2SVCD: Error message - EAccessViolation Access violation
Hi there all,
I have just installed this app with KVCD plugins latest from site. The app is version 1.2.2. I have made the modification to the KVCD Notch matrice in the SVCD INI file and added the MA adaptive script and DIVX ones etc which work fine. Is there a HOW TO for all the settings for this app as the encoder point to an internal build called QUenc or something. I configured here to point to TMPGEnc. The Drop down box in this build does not conform to Dialhots set up suggestions as for build 1.2.1. in that it only selects CONVERT TO YV12. The app works fine till it gets to the prediction stage where it reports an error in DVD2svcd as shown on this log: EStringListError List index out of bounds (63) EAccessViolation Access violation at address 00669908 in module 'DVD2SVCD.exe'. I didn't knwo that the D2S version with QEnc was out !
This was waited since long time. But... your attempt failed in Video encoding phase. So the only thing that I can tell is : the support of Quenc is not really reliable :-) Sorry but you should try with tmpgnec (even if I know that you will have prediction size problem), at least it will encode. Note : you can use the "recover" feature of d2s. You are not mandatory to redo all from start. Just go in "misc" tab, click on recover, go in the encoder tab to chnge the settings to use Tmpgenc and return to misc tab then click on "continue". |
message to dialhot
Hi Phil,
Yes I have not been using the internal encoder but have the encoding rerouted to my installed TMPGEnc encoder which is an MPEG2 enabled version. I did what you have suggested Three times and this error keeps appearing and the program obviously does not progress: EInvalidOp Invalid floating point operation..... Incidently I have been using the Guide supplied by Bazzy to encode a KSVCD @ 352x576 112mins movie. I tried other apps but finally came to this one following getting some pretty awfull encodes doing it manually despite reading hundreds of posts and making individual setting adjustments as suggested in other posts but no go. Recently I have not been able to make any KSVCD's despite being well within the encodeing resolution parameters ie KSVCD template @ 352x576 average 120Mins of video. I imagined that a 112 minute film would be able to fit well within this... perhaps I am wrong maybe. The only changes I have made to the guide is selecting CVD as opposed to KVCD but I have selected template SKVCD 352x576. What am I doing wrong here. Since progressing on from TOK and ACP I have not been able to produce a K(s)VCD of any resolution of any reasonable watching representation..... I am now extremely frustrated and confused with the New System with AVS 2.5 etc! Thanks, Blubear. :? |

You mean that you still didn't reinstall all your PC from scratch ? I'd be you, I won't look for the reason of the error further. This is still the same kind of problem you had with avs2.5 ! winXP MUST be reinstalled from scratch twice a year. |
