want to encode my 16:9 material to a kdvd
Hi all,
I'm a bit confused. I want to encode my 16:9 material to a kdvd. I use CCE. Because my material is 16:9, I must set the aspect in CCE to 16:9 also right? But, the scripts are made for 4:3 as is said on the forum. So the source now is actually 4:3 ? Should I set the aspect ratio in CCE to 16:9 or 4:3 ? btw I want to view my kdvd on a widescreen tv. Thanks in advance! |

But the encoded image itself is the same with 4:3 or 16:9 set in CCE. Quote:
You have to modify THE SCRIPT in order to produce a such "distorted" picture because by default they produce a 16:9 letterboxed picture. Quote:
What is the script you use ? |
I think I understand now. Thanks!
I'm using the ma script. |
Okay, in the MA script just add "dest_anamorphic=true" in the gripcrop line. That's all.
