TMPGEnc: what does VGA encode setting means in TMPGEnc?

Hi forum,
Could somebody please tell me what the 1.1VGA encode setting means in TMPGEnc. I noticed this in one of the template settings recently. Also the template gave a CQ reading in the size line of the template as follows MPEG2 352x576 CQ60. Is the CQ60 the max CQ or something for that template or could you have more etc.
Many thanks,
Blubear.

Hi Bluebear

THe CQ 60 can be set to what you want

When you go to the video tab in tmpge>rate control Mode where it syas Constant quality, hit setting and change if you want.

As i seen on another thread you are asking about cqmatic ,this question puzzles me a little(because this is what cqmatic is for)

I will let someone else answer about the 1.1 VGA setting

This is for the target A/R. If the question was for the source A/R then 1:1VGA is when you use an avi a source and not an avisynth script.
