TMPGEnc: Read error occurred at address

Can somebody tell me what the cause of this error is?

It happens mostly with Xvid films. I have the directshow set to top priority.
I have the latest Xvid codec installed. There's plenty of free space on the hard drive.

It can happen at random points when encoding. It's really annoying me.
