KVCD because it has KVCD in the file name?

I have recently gotten a file, and I am led to believe that it is a KVCD because it has "KVCD" in the file name. When I play it in WMP, it is black and white. How do I fix this?

Do you got the same problems if you play this file with WinDVD or other DVD Software players or try VCL Player.

You can Fix MPEG-Failures with VCDGear.

Well, I run this file with either Windows Media Player or Winamp, what programs should I use? And if they don't work, how can I fix this?

What is the movie? wasn't it filmed black and white?

No, it's Scary Movie 3. It was not recorded Black and White.

The text says it all: As you don't got the original by saying "I am led to believe that it is a KVCD" so you dont deal with orig DVD related problems in this case, so do read the disclaimer as KVCDs are everytime a backup of an original of your own :!:
