How to convert Xvid to KVCD?
 

I ripped a dvd of mine to an Vcid avi file.

The resolution is 640x352 and i was going to convert it to an Mpeg for playing on PAL DVD players. I was just wondering how i go about doing this using TMPENGC, and which template should i use?

Are there any restrictions with the avi file being a Xvid?

Always it is better start from dvd than xvid/divx.
If your source is xvid/divx search for Dialhot Optimal Script V4 in xvid/divx section of forum.
If your source is DVD search for Kwag MA script in Optimal Scripts section.
Use CQMatic and TMPGEnc to encode your mpeg. Look CQMatic section.
