after looking around,,

now it says my 2 hour-13 min movie will be 408min...

help!!!! somebody shoot me!!!!!

btw,

What tells you that ?

I guess it's Nero. Don't rely on that ! Nero just take 800 MB as 80 minutes so if you have a 4GB file, it tells you that it is 400 minutes !

it was tmpgenc..on the 4th of 5 screens on the wizard..

it tells you the minutes of movie...

btw,,thanks for the help..

Note: do not use the wizard. Do all the settings by hand and please, read a little the message posted in the thread I had indicated to you in my first post here.

i think i found another mistake i had made...

using g-spot,,audio came back as ac3..

could that do it also?

any suggestions on audio conversion..wrong place to ask i know,

but thought that my first problem may have been this all along.

i know nothing about ac3 conversion or putting them, audio and video,

back together when completed..

honestly,,im not lazy,,just not sure where to go next.........thanks

also, will be looking on my own,,im amazed by all this and want to

learn about it..its so cool to get the quality and length of dvd on a

2 cent disc. 8)

For the audio, you have to extract it with virtualdubmod (that will create an "ac3" file) and convert it to mp2 with besweet or headacche.
Then the mp2 file will be muxed with the video produced by tmpgenc, with tmpgenc (see in file menu -> mpeg tools -> simple multiplex).
