powerdvd, windvd, and seamless media player classic(MPC) and/or zoomplayer--> free and recommended you can download lots of trials, sharewares or free players here: http://www.mpegx.com http://www.mpegx.com/cat.php?dcat=VideoPlayer :wink: |
zoom player does not recognise ".kvcd.DS.bin" format for some reason 8O .....actually i downloaded this file from net....do i need to burn it again???? :?:

a bin file is a raw image of a CD. You have to burn it or to use something like Daemon tools to read it.

where can i find daemon tools??

@Phil,
Hi Phil, Since you are a big enthusiast of Zoomplayer maybe you can tell me what I am missing. I have a fresh WinXP Pro SP2 installed on my system and XviD codec. I downloaded and installed Zoomplayer 4.03 standard and then I realized it cannot read my mpeg movie files. So I installed MPC 6.4.8.2 and this one worked ok. At Inmatrix site they say Zoomplayer doesn't come with necessary codecs to read DVDs and that I should download them from windvd or powerdvd. Is that the way to go? If I want to use Zoomplayer I also need powerdvd or windvd installed in my system? Or is there a DVD/MPEG codec that I can download from other site? Cheers EDIT: I said in another thread that I'm a dumm C3PO and I was right. All I had to do was browse a little in Zoomplayer site and I found Gabest opensource mpeg2 codec 28th May 2004. I downloaded it, installed it and reboot the PC although it didn't ask for reboot. But damn! I still am unable to play my mpeg2 files :evil: What's wrong here? Can you help me? Cheers EDIT2: Here's what zoom403std logs: Code:

The codec is not all, you need also the splitter.
I use ligos for both of this. Installed grant to ACE Mega Codec Pack 5.93. www.codec-download.com |
