nero wont let me burn SVCD?

im trying to make a SKVCD, iv already encoded my file, the resolution is 352*480, and the file size is 820 mb. im trying to burn onto a 700 mb disk

now the problem is when i go to burn this using nero, it wont let me burn the file, the file is showing as being too big 800mb + ( IN RED),

iv not had any problems like this on any kvcds, my kvcd mpeg files are normally 820mb and when loaded up in nero it shows them as 720 mb and i can burn right away.

any help anyone?

does not work. iv already got nero set to overburn, iv been using overburn on all my kvcds to fit them in.

but this file is skvcd at 820 mb and just cant get it to burn, any ideas?

do skvcds have to be around 700 mb unlike kvcds which can be 800 mb?

No. It is the same as KVCD.
How do you multiplex it?

i use tmpg, and under type i chose MPEG2 PROGRAM VBR,
the other option is Super VCD VBR

do u think that could be it?

YES.

You have to multiplex as SVCD, in order to be able to burn a 800 Mb file to SVCD.
Without that, Nero is adding something like 100 Mb....

If you do not care about the credits on the film, use Tmpgenc to take out most of the end credits to reduce filesize.

For both, MPEG1 and MPEG2, you can fit 800mb file in an 80min CDR.
The difference is the way you multiplex them. If you mutliplex the MPEG2 as SVCD, you are OK, but if you multiplex the MPEG2 as an MPEG2 Program Stream, them the burning software (Nero, VCDEasy) will add padding information to your file (more them 100mb!) on the fly.
