How to Convert Mov to kvcd?

I am a newbie and have an 800+MB mov file that I want to convert to kvcd. Can you tell me the simplest way to do this--if there is a simple way.

Thanks.

Simplest way is to get the Quicktime Plugin for TmpgEnc. That makes TmpgEnc able to open .mov files and decode them properly.

Also you should install Quicktime to preview in Quictime the real fps! of your source as it sometimes seems that Quicktime Plugin for TmpgEnc doesnt recognise the mov's fps well.

Thanks, but newbie that I am, I have Nero Ultra 6 and it will transcode and burn the .mov, but guess what? No sound on the resulting DVD.

Solutions via that route? I don't have Tmp

Thanks everyone. I'll see how I can do this. Seems like KVCD is a really high compression codec.

the way i found to do it easiest was to have the quicktime plugin for tmpgenc and extract the audio from the mov file in question in wav format using mov2avi then converting to mp2 with besweet, then i encode the mov file video only to m1v and mux them together for a finished mpg ready for vcd, i do this alot also with trailers downloaded from apple.com tmpgenc has problems transcoding the audio from mov files so i recommend mov2avi, its command line but its easy to use
