VDub won't recognize D2v file
Simply put, whenI try to load a d2v file from DVD2Avi to VDub it won't recognize the file type. The file looads and encodes fine in TMPEG. I need it to load in Vdsub b/c It's japanese and i need the subtitles. VobSub.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx. Twobit326 |
Hi Twobit326,
Run FitCD and create a .avs from your .d2v. Now open the .avs with Vdub  -kwag |
next problem
now it says this:
AVIsynth open failure: AVIFile Source: Couldn't open file (C:\Cowboy Bebop\Ep 1\filmfixed.avs, line 2) Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. Twobit326 |
hey,
You need to use the VFAPI reader- this is in the vfapi folder of DVD2SVCD (that's where I found it). Run this program select ADD JOB, load the .d2v, hit CONVERT and it will create a file with your .d2v project with a -vfapi.avi extension which you can load into VDub. -ren |
*sigh*
Now it says the exact same thing but it says:
Unrecognized Exception! ....\filmfixed.avs, line 2) But it's a video file? And when it loads in Vdub it loads that pic file that says the above. What's agoing on? Should i redo the dvd2avi? BTW, it also says this when I try to load the FitCD Avisynth file Thanx |
Your computer is flucked up. The avisynth or vfapi reader method both work on my p4 1.6 ghz win2k system.
edit: I just reread your post and you said it gave an error in line blah blah of your .avs file------------ I said to load the .d2v file into the vfapi reader  - without avisynth. |
Hey twobit326,
Are you using version 1.76 of DVD2AVI :?: It you're not, that's the problem. -kwag |
