Bitrates: Problem with cqmatic

ok i used cqmatic/calcumatic to fint the cq for a 117 min avi movie (Tombraider 2) but since cqmatic cannot encode audio i extracted it with a decompressor. So i get the cq which was set for this movie i do everything manually and i get a file that is in size able to fit my 700 MB 80min cd-r but when i burn the movie i only get 64 minutes of movie play time what could be wrong the cq estimate or what.....oh and im using tmpeg and a kvcd template to fit 2 hours of movie time...

Hi Enerjr,
You're telling me that if you try to watch the whole movie in your standalone, it will suddenly stop around minute 64?
What was the final filesize (in KBytes) for the video *.m2v file, for the audio *.mp2 file and aufio+video resulting *.mpg file?
Did you mux to *.mpg using tmpgenc tools or did you use bbMpeg instead?
If you used bbMpeg, did you follow the instruction on it's forum sticky note?
What tool did you use to burn the movie to CD?
Was it configured to burn non-standard VCD?
Please, give us as much info as you can in order that we can help you.
Cheers

As already told in 2 others threads you opened on the same problem :banghead:, do not trust the display of your standalone (or either of windowsd media player). Most of them do not show the correct time when playing a KVCD. This is due to the modification in the MPEG standard that the player handle badly.

But don't worry : all the movie is here.

And if you still have a problem with Nero, that is the same ! Stop worrying for nothing.

Thank you guys but the problem is gone i used cqmatic/calcumatic to get the right cq and did all the encoding manually and it worked i still get in nero a shortage in time but when i burn it and play it on my dvd the whole movie is there... So thanks for all your help......
