KVCD: Lost sides of video picture?
 
i have just completed another kvcd, but i have lost a bit off the sides. the original size was
352 w
240 h
and i used the template....
352 w
288 h
how could i avoid this?

Lost in your standalone player, or in your PC player :?:
If it's on your PC player, it means you encoded with overscan blocks, and that's fine, as you shouldn't see the black borders (on the sides) on your TV set.

yes, on my pc dvd it plays in full but on the tv i lose about 20% of width.
so is this my standalones fault?

You didn't post any clue about what is your encoder, neither how you encode your KVCD. But it seems that you encode it with 16:9 aspect ratio and your TV set is 4:3
