DVD2SVCD: How to make a SVCD with two Subtitles and dual Audio?
I don't know what i'm doing wrong.... I make a SVCD with one Audio and one subtitle fixed and its work, but i try many times to make a SVCD with 2 subtitles (SVCD mode) and 2 Audios selectables, but doesn't work neither in my computer (PowerDVD) nor in my DVD
(Home Theater Solution HTS-200D Gradiente). What i'm doing wrong???? Somebody can help me?? Thanks.... |
Hi Thiaguinho_,
Try playing your file with Video Lan Client ( www.videolan.org ) and see if it plays. If it does, then the problem is your DVD player with the dual subs/audio selection. -kwag |
Thanks Kwag, VideoLan is perfect, its works, in my DVD its recognize the SVCD with 2 subs/audio, but nothing is showed (The image is black)... There is a way to unlock my DVD to recognize the subs/audio selection?
thanks.... |

hi...
can i make a SVCD with a menu that is showed when I put the SVCD in the DVD to me choose what subs/audio I want?? (with the files that was created by D2S) |
Of course there is :)
Try searching for VCDEasy. It will help you author a VCD/SVCD and it has menu options ;-) It is not free though. BUT it was in the past, so do search for it's latest free release which should have been v1.1.5.2. Cheers |
Hi rds_correia...
I used to use this program, VCDEasy last Free Version, but with this program can I make a menu that show the subs/audio to me select??? i never seen that in this program, and what file should i select to make the menu, because the D2S create many files. There is many changes between the free version and the newest version??? thanks |
Oops, now you got me
I didn't noticed you wanted the menu to be able to choose which audio/sub to use... No, I don't think you can do that with VCDEasy. At least I never found a way to do it. Sorry :( Cheers |
don't worry.....
anyway, do you know what file use to make the menu, because D2S create many files which i choose the CUE file to burn my CDs, but what file use to make the menu??? thanks... |
@Thiaguinho
Hi ! I did see in Videohelp and other resources something about your question and itīs possible to do it, but itīs very hard ! In this case I suggest that you do it mkdvd (mini-kdvd) case your SAP supports it; then You will can author by using several authoring programs as DVD-Lab Pro, EncoreDVD, etc ... Cheers, |
danpos: Hi ! I did see in Videohelp and other resources something about your question and itīs possible to do it, but itīs very hard.

Soon I won't understand if you are still talking about KVCD or if you're already talking about KDVD or mKDVD ;-) Cheers pal |
rds_correia, i still talking about SVCD made by D2S.
I will try I more time with VCDEasy or DVDLab to make the menus danpos said that have a way to make a menu that is shown when you put the CD in DVD to me choose what subs/audio I want, I will try that, but if it is very hard,as he said, I have 2 options: 1) Make a SVCD with fixed subs and 1 audio channel (something that i don't want) 2) Try to make a mKDVD, as you said, even so i don't know what is this(can you explaint to me?) thanks.... |
