VirtualDub: Can't join two xvid parts together?
 

help when trying to append a segment of a 2 part xvid file getting error "the video streams have different data formats" what does this mean and how can i resolve it?

LOL kwag its not legal movie its just 2 parts to a video clip of a rally car video i downloaded ages ago! just never got round to playing with it till now its only about 60min long in total bout 30min each just tried to join them in vdub to burn to cd (recently bought a divx player) :) and i am getting this error :(

any help appreciated.

You don't understand. DivX/XviD issues are not more discussed here.
