KDVD: Easiest way to merge 3 DVDs?

Trying to merge 3 seasons of cartoons on DVD (not captures). I know I can process seperately, mux, merge with TMPGEnc, demux and process with TMPGEnc Author.

:?: Is there way to simplify this without sound synch problems? I've tried VOBMerge, but keep getting "Not enough space to merge", even though I have large disc space available.

I want to end up with one track with chapters to select individual cartoons.

With DVDShrink you can do this but you will have a track per original title (so I guess, a track per episode).

Just use the "reauthor" mode and browse within the ripp of your DVD that you had done previously on the HD of course.
If the result is too big to fit a DVD you can ask to dvdshrink to compress it or you can use DVD Rebuilder afterwards.

I have 3 DVD's that I want to put on 1 352x480 DVD. I'm just trying to simplify the process by possibly concatinating the vob's and processing as one thing rather than 3 seperate processes.

It's very likely that you'll get sync problems if you simply join the three discs, but if you want to try it, you can create a d2v project file that includes all the VOBs from the three discs.

Phil's idea should work without any sync problems.

Yeah, you can't just put all the vob's into DVD2AVI without synch problems. I'll just continue to process seperately and put into one track in TMPGEnc Author.

Thanks, Guys.

dunno if this has come across your mind or not but if your wantin to merge the 3 dvds try doin 3 seperate d2v files and puttin them together in one avs script?

Can't do that as the sound will be out of synch. The method I finally used was to process each d2v seperately with avs script, muxing each with mplex and adding all three to first track in TMPGEnc Author. This keeps everything in synch and allows easy chapter cutting (each DVD contained multiple films and final contained all films with chapter at start of each film).

I had to mux prior to use in TMPGEnc as it would only accept multiple mpg files on one track, not multiple m2v and mp2 files.
