would it be better to use a CQ of 25 with the ac3 5.1, or...
 

Hi for most dvd's i use dvd2svcd and fit 2 movies on 1 dvd.

Now i am not that sure of the cq quality in CCE but i don't usually do anything over 20cq

That being said i just tried without a paddle and its only 98 minutes but to fit on half a dvd with the original ac3 track the cq was 25

If i swith to use the ac3 2.0 track i get a cq of 17

Now since this movie is not necessary for 5.1 channels does it makes sense to use the 2.0 track

I guess what i am asking is would it be better to use a CQ of 25 with the ac3 5.1

or

CQ of 17 with ac3 2.0

I know its all the quality that i personally like but just looking for opinions on what other people would do

Also i thought iread here that besweet doesn't handle 5.1(448kbps) to 5.1 (384 kbps) is there a tool that does this well

But on an other hand, you can smartly answer "I take the green car because I can paint it in black afterwards, while the black one will never run 120 Mph".

And then I will answer you smartly that you can "paint" 2.0 like a (pseudo) 5.1 using a DPL II amp, but you will never turn a CQ 25 like a 17.

You see, my question wasn't so stupid... It just help you to think a little more about your initial question, and to see that in fact there is no question.

cq 25 with 5.1 ac3 seems like the better choice since the audio/video is better quality. Seems to me like a 90 min movie should be no problem at all fitting on 1/2 dvd with excellent quality at 704x480 res. and 5.1 ac3.

you're right, is my taste too cos somebody can say:
" a fast car pass here but was too fast and i couldn't see the color, i only feel the wind, the dust and a big "roar" "...... :lol:
(and green have hundreds of cool matizes and black turn the car with hot temperature).......




.......and the viewer can be :drink: and the color don't mind only the phrase from his mouth...."son of a ....hic......" removing the dust from the eyes! :rotf:

I'm not sure you understood that with CCE, the higer the Q value, the lower is the quality.
This is not like the CQ of tmpgenc.

Oh, I did misunderstand- I thought it was like tmpgenc :oops:
