Whats the difference between MovieStacker and CQMatic?

Whats the difference between MovieStacker and CQMatic. It seems they both do prediction, but MS creates a AviSynth script.

Hi dnstommy,

MovieStacker doesn't do prediction at all :!:
It simply creates .avs script with preset filter settings, and crop/resize parameters, plus some other things.
CQMatic is an automatic CQ processor which tries to find the optimal CQ value for a given target size.

thanks for the info. I am having problems with CQMatic with it just flickering Tmpgenc on the screen, then doing nothing else. I have a feeling it has to do with my Source Range, but thats for another forum.
