Nero can't do KDVD and more over can't do anything but crap.
Tmpg xpress output almost the same than tmpgenc 2.524 and can't use templates the way we use to. It is useless to loose time to try to adapt them to xpress, just use tmpgenc 2.524.

Else look on the forum to see how people tried to adapt templates to xpress. And finally stopped to use it (or never asked any question since then...)

For instance, read here :

I use Tppgenc xpress works great so far

Successfully Made and burned a 82 minute KVCD very good picture and sound. I just copied the KVCD matrix into my own templetes and the gop. Used all settings from tmpgenc templates for video and sound. Burned it and poped in dvd player worked fine and quality was very good. Also have transcoded a 8 hour dvd using the "KDVD half d-1 template" and made into iso with menus with "tmpg enc dvd author" Super easy made menu and the program makes video_ts and audio_ts folders. Took like 25 minutes after that i burned a iso with nero. Have not burned to dvd yet as i am waiting on new burner to arrive. But it the menus and quailty of video was great. Can't wait to test on dvd burner. Also TmpGenc was easy to us as far as cuting and editing and transcodes audio and video at the same time w/no problems so far.
