Thanks for the info Phil, this sounds like a very useful tool although I hope to over techical for me to get my head around it. :D

The usefull think is at least when you want to be sure of the GOP structure of the encoded stream. Sometimes it's hard to know how many B frames are generated for instance. The tool shows the structure graphically.

That sounds excellent Phil, seeing the GOP graphically is really helpful.
