constantly get read errors on certain .vob files?

hello im encountering a problem trying to back up dvds in the "alien quadrilogy" set. i constantly get read errors on certain .vob files as in trying to decrypt them, any ideas? is it just me? its only one or two vob files but its a huge chunk of the movie, the discs are in perfect condition, has anyone else ran into this problem before? thanks in advance

Hi BigDaddyWiLL,

Using DVDDecrypter, right :?:
If so, try DVDFabDecrypter: http://www.dvdidle.net/download/DVDFabDecrypter29.exe

ill give that a try , thanks kwag, one more question for someone that might know, any suggestions on the best possible resolution to use when encoding a movie upto 4 hours long onto one cd-r? using tmpgenc, im working on backups of star wars special editions and lord of the rings extended editions sets, any input would prove valuable in my quest for perfection, thanks again :D

For KVCDs up to 4 hours, go for 352x240 using the LBR template (if your player supports those resolutions/bitrate, etc..)
For KDVDs, go for 704x480.
