Notch compatibility and more generaly matrix with coef < 16

Here Notch bug with Mencoder CVS-051009-3.4.4:

If you want use or/and test Mencocer you must don' use Notch Matrix


Mencoder MP@ML compliant stream

If you want make MPEG2 with Main Level you must use:

- Good motion motion vector range
- multipass encoding
- good Rate Control tweak for vbv compliant stream


If you use that IMO MPEG2 stream produce by Mencoder are always MP@ML compliant stream ...

If you want I can make complete Faq profil for mencoder in all situation (low, medium and high bitrate) for make test yourself ... :?:

I think this time we can close the thread. In case you did not notice, the mencoder section is closed AND we are on a forum to discuss about KVCD/KDVD.

People have enough to read and do as they want.
