I'm clueless for where this little fellow came and why he acted like this . I can't find the other topics where he addressed directly to me. Whatever I told him I'm quite sure was not enough to make him open his eyes and see that here WE DON'T DO WAREZ AND WE DO NOT SUPPORT IT! I hope that others that join us can clearly understand the we don't sell movies, we don't have movies downloads and that our objective is to learn as much as possible on how to gain quality, speed and compressibility from MPEG2 or whatever codec that we might work on in the future. Oh, and I almost forgot, LONG LIVE KVCD/KDVD AND THE NOTCH!!! :D Cheers |
Also why did the second fool "password" even bother to be on this site if
he regards KDVD as old hat. :? :? |
KVCD is an excellent tool but i cannot figure out how to get tmpegenc to compress my dvds while keeping the main widescreen intact everything i encode i wind up deleting it because the people look all warped for example look at the matrix trillogy on one dvd it looks excellent but why does everyone have a long face how do i keep the proper thing there for example i wanted to do back to the future trillogy on one dvd but everything is all stretched out
Kwag if you are not satisified with what i said please don't ban me this is just constructive criticism just offer me some tips on how to prevent that from happening thats all i need and what of TV DVDs can u offer me advice on what settings to use Dialhot how fast is your PC i have been looking for a way to make my encodes faster i have a 1.8ghz pentium 4 computer and i would like to be able to encode KDVD in the time you stated but i get like 6-10 hours for encode on the estimation |
That's a problem with the aspect ratio flag in tmpgenc.
Unfortunately I haven't been using it for a long while. There should be an option in tmpgenc named "target aspect ratio". Please set that as "center". And please use an avisynth script as an input in tmpgenc if you're not doing so already. If you don't know how to setup a script then use Incredible's PARanoia. It even has it's how sub-forum here at kvcd.net. Do install XviD to take care of YV12 colorspace input and tmpgenc's ReadAVS VFAPI plugin so that tmpgenc can load avisynth scripts. You can find all the info on the forum using the search engine but you can ask for help if you run into any problem trying to set it all up ;-). Cheers |

You're encoding with the wrong aspect ratio, just as Rui explained. Quote:
But as I said, that has nothing to do with KVCD. You would get the same incorrect results with TMPEG if you don't target the correct aspect ratio. Take a good look at PARanoia, and use it to create your .avs scripts. Then your targets will be correct. -kwag |

I think you have the correct settings! You're doing an anamorphic dvd....just as I did The Matrix. |
Regarding all story, I must say:
Me too :!:  .... or, whatever :? PS: digitall, nicksteel, can I now jon "dumm club" :?: :P |
I agree, these haters are losers who can't do it on their own because they don't have the patience and skill to do it. The encoding process is not something you learn in one minute. Good job for the quick banning kwag!! :D
