I'll test the thing and see what happens on my system.

Could you post your whole rebuilder.ini as well, I could check if there's something out of place there.

Have you tried deleting the rebuilder.ini file and then setting everything up? There's for example the hc_matrix entry which I don't have in my rebuilder.ini at all!

This is what I currently have:

I thought that represented the index of the file I selected in the directory ("KVCD Notch.mtx" if the first file in the directory, so "hc_matrix=1" sounded correct). I was starting from scratch (first usage of DVD-RB Pro on this computer) so that is strange. My PC is currently encoding but I will try asap.

Dialhot 06-01-2006 09:06 AM

So I tried again and same thing : in "OPV w/prediction" either with HC or CCE, the prediction (I did not go till the complete encode) is done without using the custom matrix selected in the menu.

But if I don't do a OPV encoding, this time the matrix is correctly used during the encoding, as we can see in the item.ecl :

I guess jdobbs simply forgot to handle custom matrixes in OPV mode :-(

supermule 06-02-2006 12:45 AM

I dont think OPV mode supports Custom Matrices, check the rebuilder forum in Doom9, i think I read it there.
