Yes. This is something that should be built-in on every DVD player. My Panasonic DMR-E20 has an internal Time Base Corrector, with similar features.

A Panasonic DMR-E20 . I hate to sound cheesy but damn, hombre. That model is mad expensive. (Listed at $585-$599) You must be a high holler in San Juan. :D

HeHe :lol: , I wish I had paid that price!. When I bought it back around February, I paid $1,095.00 for it 8O , and now they came out with the new model, that has an internal Hard Drive plus the DVD-Ram for less than that :twisted:

Does it play everything ?

What is it about some of the templates that makes them not work with certain dvd players resolution ? bitrate? or other ?

BTW, I am trying to do fiddler on the roof (3+ hrss) I think with your Blockbuster settings, my rip looks a little too sharp, because it seems like there is a little more noise in some areas. I just change the strength setting right ?

Blockbuster( method="noise", detail_min=1, detail_max=3, lv=1.5 ) # Only apply noise <= 3% complexity.

I keep tweaking the settings, and this one just feeds noise on very low complexity areas ( very dark areas ) and then slightly sharpens everything above that.

Why is it that only chead dvd players play svcd ?

I noticed from your earlier post that you switched the order of the filters, is this important ?

It shouldn't make a difference, because the methods are being applied to a specific frequency domain. Noise below a treshold, sharpen above a treshold. I changed the order to match the order of low to high frequencies (complexity) . If you look at the continuity (1 to 3) followed by (4 to 99) Seems more logical ;)
