KVCD: got noise in a lot of the scenes?

Ok here's what I did: Used DVD Decrypter to rip From Dusk Till Dawn, opened DVD2AVI created d2v file, then extracted audio in Headac3e, then when I went to encode in TMPGENC usin the KVCD1CD template, i got noise in a lot of the scenes. Does anyone knoe how to filter ou the noise. It's in the day scenes too.

Hi Paul0889,

Don't encode from the .d2v directly. Use FitCD to create a .avs script, and process that. Take a look at this thread to see what you can accomplish: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1604

Try the PLUS templates. Not the old original ones.

Use the LBR if you want to put ~120 minutes with quality equal to a VCD, or up to ~180 minutes with slightly reduced quality. If you want near DVD quality, go for the KVCDx3. Use the file prediction formula to maximize space and quality: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1294
