KVCD: Can't get 120 minutes video on 1 CD?

Ever since I had a crash with TMPGENC about 3 weeks ago I have NOT been able to fit more than 100 min on one CD. Using same templates that i used prior to the crash, that I could do 160 easy with. Nothing I seem to do has helped, even went to the 352x240 LBR template, although the quality wasn't near what I was getting with the old template.

System Stats:

Windows XP SP1
TMPGEnc 2.59.47.155
352X240 NTSCFILM (no changes from template std), tried lowering Quality, still cldnt fit on one CD

Imput video:
Anything I've tried, including SVCD, DIVX (HQ).

Concidering I used to use the original KVCD (70 CQ) and used 128KB audio and got great quality and always got at least 140 min on a 80min CD.

I'm pulling my hair out over this, any idea's?

Try going back to version. 2.58 of tmpgenc. Seems a lot of people are having probs with the new version. Take a look http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1754

Hope this helps

I will try that, have the last 4 or 5 versions still on my drive, I did try going back to 2.57, but I has some other issues with that version.

Thanks for the quick response!
