KVCD: went to burn it in Nero, but file huge?

I used the KVCDx2 704x480 template, got great results, and succesfully burned 1 hr., 12 min on CD2. However after I encoded the first part of the movie (also 1:12), and went to burn it in Nero, I got this HUGE projected file size! What could have happened? Same movie, two basically identical halves, same template, major disparity in size in Nero.... !??!
