This doesn't work with KVCD templates. KVCDs are encoded as CQ_VBR, and you can't use x-pass bit rate calculators. Check this thread towards the end: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1969

i really don't understand all that but when i load my file into tmpgenc and change the min. bitrate does it lower the file size or does it help to lower or what can i do to help lower the file size because i now know that my dvd doesn't like 23.96 fps but 29.97 works. the file is an xvid movie its an avi file. and everytime i encode it comes out to 1.00 but i recently encoded the file and it was 950 mb. i used 960 as min and 1600 as max bitrate.please get back to me kwag or anyone thanks. i would really like to get this to work since im so close.
